History
CCCID was established in early 2010 to focus on specialist services to the International Development sector. It was an offshoot of Cross Cultural Consultants, experts in Australian Indigenous cross cultural training and consultancy. CCCID remains associated with CCC recognising the value of sharing knowledge and experiences across different contexts.
CCCID draws on learning and program experience developed by its team through a range of projects and programs including:
- Predeparture Training and Debriefing for over 1000 Australian Youth Ambassadors for Development (AYAD) 2005 - 2007, and 300 Volunteering for International Development from Australia (VIDA) volunteers
- Organisational development and participatory planning, learning and evaluation services to a range of NGO's governments and businesses.
- Learning design and Capacity Development for GRM International, VIDA volunteers, AusReady, Engineers Without Borders and partner Governments in Tonga, Vanuatu and Kiribati involved in Australia's Pacific Seasonal Workers Pilot Scheme.
- Predeparture cross cultural capacity building briefings for Australian Government advisors to PNG, Solomon Islands, Nauru, and Indonesia.
